Here, children are encouraged to become critical thinkers and problem solvers. As part of our mission to cultivate a welcoming community, our educators and caregivers model kindness and empathy. Every child deserves to feel safe, represented, and accepted in an inclusive environment that includes:
Charlotte’s Place partners with Amistad Family Services, Inc. to provide ongoing supervision/consultation, parenting classes and on-site Behavioral Therapy for children and families who may benefit from additional support.
Charlotte’s Place also partners with local early intervention agencies, as well as The Play Lab to provide on-site developmental screenings and therapy services. Children will have an opportunity to receive a comprehensive evaluation, which will help identify any needs for further support.
All supplemental services provided through these partnerships, will be in the child’s best interest with little to no disruption to their natural environment and routine. Supplemental services for children, such as speech therapy, occupational therapy, and behavioral therapy, are provided with parental consent/involvement and billed according to the family’s medical insurance or other billing preference.
Charlotte’s Place also partners with local early intervention agencies to provide on-site therapy for children under age 3. Children will receive a comprehensive evaluation which will display any needs for further support. Charlotte’s Place encourages all therapists to provide services in the classroom with the children.
All supplementary services for children over age 3 such as Behavioral Therapy are provided and billed through the family’s insurance or Medicaid.
